He Sees It All—And He’s Not Done Yet

Have you ever looked around and thought, God, do You see this? Do You see the pain, the injustice, the brokenness?

We all have. And the answer is yes—He sees every bit of it.

God is not distant. He’s not unaware. He’s watching, and in His perfect timing, He will make things right. Nothing escapes His attention. No evil goes unnoticed. No suffering is wasted. No tear is forgotten.

Even when we don’t understand His timing, we can trust that He’s in control. A day is coming when everything will be made new. But until then, we hold on. We keep going. We live with the hope that Jesus is coming back.

Waiting Isn’t Easy

Sometimes, the weight of the world feels like too much. We see the chaos, the confusion, the unraveling of truth, and we ask, God, how long?

Scripture reminds us—His delay isn’t indifference; it’s mercy. James tells us that the Lord is waiting for the early and late rains, giving more people time to turn to Him. His timing isn’t random. Just like Jesus came at the perfect moment in history—fulfilling the Law, establishing the New Covenant, launching the Church—His return will be just as intentional.

God has never been late. So we choose to trust Him—His wisdom, His goodness, His timing.

Holding the Line in a Shifting World

It’s impossible to ignore what’s happening around us. Truth is twisted. Sin is celebrated. The unthinkable is now normal. No wonder so many feel overwhelmed.

But Jesus told us this would happen—not to scare us, but to prepare us. He spoke of wars, famines, natural disasters. He said these would be the beginning of sorrows. That there would be persecution. That we’d be hated for His name. That many would fall away, betray, and hate one another. That love would grow cold.

So with everything pressing in, how do we stay strong?

Look to Those Who’ve Gone Before

We’re not the first to walk this road. Hebrews 12 reminds us we’re surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses—men and women who suffered, endured, and stayed faithful because they kept their eyes on God.

If they could make it through, so can we.

One of the most encouraging ways to strengthen our faith is by reading the stories of those who came before us. Their lives remind us that God is faithful in every season. That perseverance is possible. That no trial is too great when we trust in Him.

By learning from their lives, we gain wisdom, courage, and renewed hope to run our own race with endurance.

We Were Never Meant to Do This Alone

But here’s the thing—God never intended for us to run this race alone. Just as we draw strength from those who’ve gone before us, we also need those walking beside us—brothers and sisters in Christ who encourage, challenge, and lift us up when we grow weary.

This is not the time to stand alone. We need each other more than ever.

The Church isn’t just a place we go—it’s who we are. We stand together. We encourage one another. We shine in the darkness.

The enemy wants us divided, isolated, convinced we’re alone. But we’re not. Jesus prayed for our unity (John 17:21), and now is the time to fight for it. Because if we don’t stand, who will? If we stop speaking truth, what hope will be left?

He’s Not Done With You

If you feel like life won’t let up—like you’re barely holding on—remember this:

God has not abandoned you. He sees you. He’s strengthening you. He’s not done with you yet.

So we trust Him in what we can’t control. We honor Him in what we can.

And in suffering, we have the greatest opportunity to shine—to be light, to be salt, to proclaim the Gospel.

So keep shining.

Because the Gospel shines brightest in the darkest places.

Jesus is returning. When He does, may He find us faithful—bold in truth, steadfast in love, and unwavering in faith.

“Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door. As an example of suffering and patience, brothers, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful. But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation.” James 5:7-12
